On this site we talk a great deal about understanding spirituality. The reason for this is that spirituality actually heals our mind. We do not talk much about healing the body because that happens much more quickly once we have healed our mind. We explore that idea today.
Welcome back
We begin with our usual welcoming back of everyone from their weekend. I trust that everyone had a safe and productive weekend. This was a typical winter weekend in the northeast US – one day stormy and the other windy and cold. I hope you had better weather where you were.

It looks like FeedBurner missed the email distribution on Friday. I hope they pick it up again for this post. Here is the link to Friday’s post in case you never received it.
Visualizing our healing
In a previous post we heard about the importance of visualization. In short we never achieve anything that we cannot visualize. Also, whatever we can visualize we can eventually achieve.
Doctors know that patients do not get well unless they want to do so. This is why their bedside manner is so important. A good doctor uses a bedside manner that helps a patient visualize their healing. Once the patient can see themselves as healed then they start to take more responsibility for their own recovery.
Being in the moment
We have talked at great length about being in the moment, observing our thoughts and behavior, and acceptance for the very same reason. A doctor helps a patient through their bedside manner. We are attempting to show how to create our own “bedside manner” through our spirituality.
When we are in the moment there is no place for fear and doubt. Our body no longer receives the toxic energy and byproducts caused by fear. We heal our body solely by staying in the moment and allowing the balanced energy to gradually wash away the accumulated imbalances.
Observing
For the times that we are not in the moment we use observation to recognize that we have slipped out. By itself, being out of the moment is not a big problem. It is the self destructive behavior that we tend to engage in while out of the moment that becomes the problem.
Eventually we observe this self destructive behavior. We realize that we have slipped out of the moment and we begin to regain the moment. Eventually we get back in the moment and we restart the healing process.
Heal the mind and the body will follow
The most important aspects of spirituality are staying in the moment and maintaining our observation of ourselves. The more we practice these things the more we learn about our spirituality. The more we learn about our spirituality the more we heal our mind so that we can stay in the moment for longer periods of time.
The longer we can stay in the moment the more we automagically heal ourselves. Gradually we find for ourselves that the fastest way to have a healed body is to learn to heal our mind through our spirituality.
Until tomorrow –
Es kava turen hai
We work towards an identical goal.
