Here we post our recommendations for additional resources.
Staying in the Moment
Our recommendation for the best current resource to learn how to stay in the moment is Eckhart Tolle. His book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose (ISBN 0452289963) has been very helpful to many people recently.
Oprah Winfrey has worked with Eckhart Tolle extensively this year. They recorded 10 90 minute videos with a live call in audience earlier this year. This is an excellent hands on seminar in the practical application of some of the finer points of the skill set required to stay in the moment. Here is the link:

You will have to register wit the Oprah site to access the material.
Books
One of the best books I ever read about living a spiritual life was written by Vernon Howard. The book The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power (ISBN 0911203931) tends to be difficult to find. It is well worth the effort to find and buy it. Otherwise, look for it at your local library.
Another excellent book is Illusions (ISBN 0099427869) by Richard Bach. Many of us who have been on the path for awhile will recognize the conversations between Richard and Don. We all had the same types of conversations with those who guided us.
Other Sites
Teaching Spirituality to Children
I came across an excellent site that appears to be teaching children about spirituality in a very positive manner. If this interests you please check them out at this site: http://pickawoowoo.com/childrens-spiritual-books/index.html
They also operate a blog. Here is a blog posting that offers an excellent explanation on how to encourage the spirituality in your children. http://pickawoowoo.com/childrens-spiritual-books/blog/2008/07/5-ways-to-nurture-spirituality-in.html
Movies
Ghandi
On this blog we are strong advocates of nonviolence and, when necessary, noncooperation. One of the great proponents of this method of activism was Mahatma Ghandi. There is an excellent biographical movie about Ghandi. We highly recommend this movie for anyone who is interested in finding nonviolent methods to resolve conflicts. Here is the link to the description of the movie on IMDB:

Public Speaking
One of the most valuable skills that we can have is being able to speak to a live audience. If you think about it, aren’t we Crystal Children, Indigo Children, and Star Children going to need to be articulate about our thoughts? What happens when that talk radio or TV program asks us to be a guest? Wouldn’t it be a good idea for us to take some time and train ourselves to speak clearly and enthusiastically in front of any audience?
We have found that the best way to learn public speaking is through Toastmasters International. They have a program that takes a novice speaker through all aspects of speaking that includes giving formal speeches, extemporaneous speaking, and how to run a meeting.
We can not emphasize strongly enough the importance of being comfortable speaking to a live audience. If we would all spend about a year working through the basic 10 speech program offered by Toastmasters International we would tremendously improve all of our communications.
